Every stock boat and trailer we sell is covered by two warranties for the original retail purchaser. Both begin on the date of delivery, and neither requires a registration card to be valid — your order record is your proof of coverage.
1-year limited comprehensive warranty
Covers defects in materials and workmanship in fittings, decking, seating, hatches, axles, couplers, winches and lighting.
5-year limited structural warranty
Covers the hull plating, frame and transom structure against failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship. On a riveted 5052 aluminum hull this is the coverage that matters most, and five years is longer than most boats in this price range carry.
What is not covered
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents and fading
- Normal wear items: tires, bunk carpet, straps and bearings
- Corrosion resulting from failure to rinse after saltwater use, missing or depleted sacrificial anodes, or improper installation of dissimilar metals
- Damage from accident, misuse, overloading beyond rated capacity, unapproved modification, improper trailering or hull support, or inadequate maintenance

How to make a claim
Email support@blackseriesmarine.com or call (833) 822-6737 with your order number, photographs and a short description of the issue. We respond within one business day and will either arrange a repair, supply replacement parts, or replace the unit, at our option.
Register your boat or trailer
Registration is optional, but it makes any future claim faster because we already have your details on file. Send one email to support@blackseriesmarine.com with your order number, delivery date, and the hull identification number (HIN, stamped on the transom) or the trailer VIN (on the plate near the tongue).
Keeping your coverage intact
- Rinse the hull and trailer after every saltwater outing, and keep anodes fitted — our corrosion care guide explains what to check.
- Support the hull along its full length on the trailer; our bunk guide shows the right setup.
- Service wheel bearings on schedule — see trailer maintenance.
- Stay within the ratings on the certified capacity plate or trailer label.
