A single-axle aluminum trailer built for jet skis and personal watercraft, and equally at home under a jon or utility boat from 8 to 12 ft. The 6061-T6 aluminum frame keeps the whole trailer light enough for one person to move by hand, and the rubber-ride torsion axle tows smoother than leaf springs with nothing to corrode and seize after salt water launches.

Fits at a glance

  • Personal watercraft: every current single PWC (most run 450–1,000 lb), with fuel and gear
  • Boats: our Jon Boat 12 ft and Utility Boat 12 ft; for 14 ft and larger, use the tandem-axle boat trailer
  • Tow vehicle: 2 in ball; light enough for most cars and small SUVs — check your vehicle's rating

Specifications

  • Overall length: 178 in (14 ft 10 in)
  • Overall width: 62 in
  • Frame: 6061-T6 aluminum (the structural alloy used for trailer frames; our boat hulls use 5052 sheet — different jobs, different alloys)
  • Axle: single 1,655 lb torsion axle (rubber-ride)
  • GVWR: 1,500 lb
  • Trailer weight: 260–280 lb
  • Payload: 1,220–1,240 lb — the certified label on your trailer states the exact figure

  • Coupler: 2 in, for a 2 in ball

Fittings

  • Carpeted bunks with adjustable brackets
  • Bow winch with strap and keel roller
  • Swing-down jack wheel
  • Safety chains and lighting
  • Spare wheel included

Why torsion beats leaf springs

The torsion axle suspends each wheel on a rubber-cushioned arm inside the axle tube: a smoother ride for your hull, a lower deck for easier launching, and no shackles or bushings to rust after dunking the trailer at the ramp. On a trailer this size, it is the single biggest quality difference you can buy. Our torsion axle guide goes deeper.

Setting it up

Position the bunks to support the hull along its running surface, set tongue weight to roughly 5–7% of the loaded total, and check bearings and lights before long tows. Our guides cover bunk position, tongue weight and bearing and tire maintenance.

Warranty

1-year limited comprehensive warranty on the axle, coupler, winch, lighting and fittings, and a 5-year limited structural warranty on the frame, from the date of delivery. Tires, bunk carpet, straps and bearings are wear items. Read the full warranty.

Delivery and registration

Ships free by scheduled freight anywhere in the US. Inspect before you sign — our delivery guide shows what to check. You register the trailer with your state DMV using the VIN plate and the certificate of origin we supply; the registration guide covers it.
